Additional Performance Improvements
Additional improvements have been made alongside the test method updates and additions in this version of the QEST Platform, some of which are noted below:
Improved Image Handling on Reports
One of the main changes in this version is handling of images attached to test reports, from logos and signatures to photos captured in the field. The range of supported file types has been increased, along with the addition of ability to attach PDF files to report directly from QESTField Tests while retaining the PDF content in its native state. When attaching a PDF to a report in QESTField, if the PDF size exceeds 500kB, the user will be warned that it may take a while to upload the PDF in case they are utilising a mobile data connection.
Individual reports can now also handle more total image attachments and quality of images that are resized at the point of reporting has been drastically improved.
Other Features and Improvements
Along with the above test methods, the latest QEST Platform release includes a number of other improvements to user experience and functionality. For a full list of additional features please refer to the release notes.
