Spectra QEST is excited to announce the release of QEST Platform 4.92. This version of QEST Platform introduces a number of improvements to key field workflows for both concrete and field density as well as a number of general improvements and tweaks to usability and efficiency throughout the QEST Platform product suite.
Improved Field Cured Specimens Workflow
Better support for site cured concrete specimens has been added throughout the QEST Platform product suite from QESTField, to QESTLab, and the QESTField Scheduler. From registering site cured specimens in QESTField manually or via predefined test groups, ensuring that they are picked up at the right time via the QESTField Scheduler, receipt of the site cured specimens in QESTLab through to setting and comparing required strength values to results specifically for site cured specimens in QESTLab, the support for these types of specimens is the most complete and thorough it’s ever been.
This comprehensive support at all points of the site cured their life cycle now offered by the QEST Platform means that things just got a lot simpler and a lot more efficient where site cured specimens are concerned.
Custom Proctor Tests for Use in Field Density Workflows
Field density testing often requires the referencing of a maximum density value from a Proctor test that may be state-based, or a one point variant or even a combination of these. While QESTLab boasts support for many full-blown Proctor test methods, there are still occasions where a specific variant has not been supported.
A new reduced, generic, Proctor test has been introduced in this version of the QEST Platform where users can enter the reference maximum density and optimum moisture content values and, at the same time, state which test method was used to obtain these values.
Support for this test exists in QESTLab for any regional Proctor tests that QESTLab may not have support for as well QESTField for any one-point field based Proctors that may be needed. Once entered, these custom Proctor values can be referenced in field density workflows in both QESTLab and QESTField just like any other Proctor test.
Field technicians and inspectors can now use QESTField to complete their field test data entry and reference these custom Proctor values without any change to their day to day workflow, keeping field operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Highlighting of Early Age Specimens
The QESTField Scheduler will now highlight where early age specimens exist when reviewing suggested pickup work orders.
Sets of specimens with the earliest test due on the same day that the dispatcher is scheduling for will be highlighted in red, while those to be tested on the next day will be highlighted in yellow.

Portrait Mode Support
For operations with many field staff that require scheduling, the QESTField Scheduler now supports use in portrait mode. Dispatchers with a dedicated second screen, rotated to portrait mode, can now see over 50 technicians in the timeline at once when using a monitor with a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
