QESTField Scheduler Functionality Announced with the Release of QESTField and QESTLab Version 4.4

Spectra QEST is proud to announce the release of the beta release of QESTLab and QESTField version 4.4 which includes the new QESTField Scheduler functionality. A new feature of the award winning QEST Platform, the QESTField Scheduler helps busy field testing offices streamline their scheduling and dispatch operations.

Used in combination with QESTField, the Scheduler replaces traditional methods of organising a daily field work schedule such as paper, whiteboards and overloaded electronic calendars. Designed and built from the ground up to support the workflow of the busy dispatchers of engineering and testing firms, the QESTField Scheduler increases the efficiency of creating a schedule and provides an eagle’s eye view of the day’s activities and their status.

The QESTField Scheduler reduces the effort required for this activity by overcoming the limitations of performing the task on physical media, providing guidance on competencies and availability as well as streamlining communication of scheduled work to field personnel.

Other new functionality in version 4.4 includes an updated and streamlined QESTField user interface as well as the introduction of metric versions of high-volume ASTM tests. The new metric ASTM tests include a full suite of concrete and field density testing, thus better serving markets using these standards with metric units such as Canada and the Middle East.

More information on the other features included with version 4.4 of QESTLab and QESTField is available in the product release notes. Spectra QEST will be working with select beta customers in rolling out the scheduling functionality over the coming months.
