QESTLab v3.7 Released

Spectra QEST announces that it has released QESTLab v3.7 and this latest version is now available to customers.

The major features of this release are a new recurring Work Order feature, enhancements to the QEST Administrator Console, QEST Data Capture and the Equipment Interfacing functionality. The addition of new Test Methods and updating of existing Test Methods has also occurred.

Recurring Work Orders
One new feature which improves efficiency is the ability to create recurring Work Orders. Established Work Orders can be scheduled to repeat at desired intervals including daily, weekly and monthly. Information copied into each Work Order includes client and project details, location, field technician, start and finish times as well as duration, order number and work requirements.

QEST Administrator Console
Various improvements to the QEST Administrator Console have been made which enable more efficient and timely support. These improvements include:

Searching in Grids
Some sections of the QEST Administrator Console now include a text-based search functionality, allowing for faster identification of required configuration items.

Paging in Counter Values
When wanting to view or edit Counters that have a large number of Counter Values associated with them, it can take several minutes to load. In order to make this process faster, paging has been extended to Counters. Counter Values are now displayed in pages of 100 records per page.

QEST Data Capture
The existing QEST Data Capture (QDC) feature allows users to package Work Orders and relevant information when seeking support or providing feedback. QESTLab v3.7 contains numerous significant enhancements to this feature, which allow for more detailed and efficient communication and analysis of information.

Equipment Interfacing
An existing useful capability of QESTLab is its ability to interface with equipment and import data directly. Further improvements to this functionality have been made. Necessary selections can be made more quickly and efficiently as only laboratory Approved Documents are available for selection and the ability to bulk select/deselect has been incorporated.

Additional Test Methods
As is standard for all QESTLab releases, numerous test methods have been updated and additional test methods have been added.
