Engineering Implementation Specialist Position Opening in U.S. Office
Spectra QEST is a software development and services company that offers construction materials testing firms and agencies a cutting edge software platform to manage laboratory and field testing and inspection activities. With continuing success and growth, we are looking for a self-motivated Engineering Implementation Specialist to join our team based out of Sacramento, California.
A background with experience in laboratory management, preferably gained in the construction materials or geotechnical testing industries, is highly desirable. Top performers in this position have degrees in engineering (civil, geological, etc.), business, or IT related fields. Software development or coding experience is not required. In fact, if you want to write code, this is not the right job for you. You’ll have the necessary aptitude for IT systems and be an effective problem solver that will play a pivotal role in internal and external stakeholder engagement.
Working closely with customers, you’ll be responsible for managing implementations and upgrades of Spectra QEST‘s products. Involved throughout the full life-cycle of each project, you’ll be running project planning workshops, compiling documentation, delivering user training and coordinating internal development. Each of our customer has unique needs, so this position requires a deep understanding of the product platform and the ability to see issues from the customer's perspective.
To excel in this position, you’ll require strong analytical skills, the ability to rapidly learn a complex software platform, good judgment with the capacity to independently evaluate situations and identify the optimum course of action, outstanding people skills, and excellent attention to detail in this position. You’ll possess the desire to creatively solve real-world business problems with our software platform.
